What we collect

Enquiries. When you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive what you choose to send: usually your name, phone number, area or Eircode, details about your home and any photos.
Survey and job information. If we visit your home we record the address, notes about the property, measurements, and photos or thermal images needed to assess, quote for and carry out work.
Grant paperwork. Where you apply for an SEAI grant, we may handle information needed for the application and certification, such as your MPRN or BER details, and share it as the scheme requires.
Website data. Our hosting provider records standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this site.

How contacting us works

This website has no contact form and does not collect your details. The “Message on WhatsApp” button simply opens a WhatsApp chat with us, and nothing is sent until you choose to send it. Messages sent through WhatsApp are also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Records of completed jobs, certificates and grant paperwork are kept for as long as needed for warranties, grant audits and our legal obligations, typically up to seven years after the job.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Email info@mzcc.ie and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission.
